If you miss a DD popping up on the map for 5 seconds because you were in a tense fight with another ship, why should you be punished?

In the absence of a coherent team then I see nothing wrong in the 'last known position' mod being used. If the whole team was in contact then the spotter would inform the rest of the team that the DD was last seen in A1 for instance. It takes the place of radio and a working together team (which doesn't happen). Not sure if I like the minimap mod either since my stance is that if you did not notice the shima popping up for a few seconds there then you deserve to eat torps instead of noticing later that oh my, there is a shima around cause the grey ship on my minimap tells me so. If it required you to be inside the smoke to see boundaries I would be ok with that mod but as it is now I will just make this face:īut to each his own, so far I only play this game vanilla and in wot the only mods I did use was gnomefathers gun and engine sounds (fv 183 sounds <3).
